E-learning has advantages over traditional instructor-led training.
• With e-learning training can be developed and distributed quickly and efficiently.
• Training is scheduled around the availability and convenience for each employee.
• There’s a more controlled and consistent knowledge delivery with e-learning—especially for companies with a multi-geographic workforce.

With e-learning, training costs can be significantly reduced. Companies estimate that $2 out of every $3 dollars of their training budget goes towards paying for travel-related costs. Only a dollar goes towards the actual training! E-learning eliminates travel costs, the time it takes to travel and be away from work, and decreases down time.
Another benefit of e-learning is its “green” aspect. Consider the carbon footprint caused when an employee has to travel to attend training. Just by driving 30 miles in a car that gets 20 miles per gallon will put 30 pounds of carbon dioxide in the air.
